Ways You Can Help

If you like the work that we do and want to help out, you can help us out by donating money to go towards the growing and maintaining of the fleet of Tor Routers. It costs less than $10 AUD a month to run a Middle/Guard node, about $15-$30 AUD a month to run an Exit node, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

At this stage in our life as a business, we are too small to operate as a Charity, or Not-For-Profit (NFP) with the administrative and clerical overhead required to set up a public company, but that is the ultimate goal. To help the Tor Project in providing safe and effective access to privacy when browsing the internet, as well as eventually provide free training on the best practices to stop personal data leaks, remain out of harms way of malicious actors, and extol the virtues of a free and fair internet. The work we do is voluntary in that we make no money, and don’t want to profit, from these endeavors.

Our pledge to you, and to the internet, is that any funds we receive will go towards the expenses of running the business, and maintaining the current fleet, with the hope to grow the fleet over time should funds pick up. The costs that we encounter are mainly in the running and maintaining of the Tor Routers themselves, but there are also the typical online business expenses of maintaining a domain and accompanying website, managing email to ensure any abuse complaints are handled quickly as to not affect the uptime of the Tor Routers, and business obligations to government bodies.
